Job summary

CGI Space in Nederland zoekt een Java Software Engineer voor Mission Critical-systemen binnen de Galileo-infrastructuur. Je levert bijbehorende bijdragen aan beveiliging en data-protectie en werkt aan uitdagende, internationale projecten.

Je hebt 3–5 jaar ervaring met Java en OO-programmeren, een relevante IT-opleiding en bent bereid te reizen naar klantlocaties en CGI-vestigingen. EU-nationaliteit is vereist voor security clearance.

Your role in our team

You'll be working on a Mission Critical System within the Galileo infrastructure, where complexity meets the challenge of operational excellence and near 100% availability. Your role is vital for enhancing the security and data protection of this navigation mission.

Your key responsibilities

• You’ll be at the forefront of software development, tackling component and element requirements. This includes everything from in-depth investigation to proposing innovative solutions, implementing them, and rigorously reviewing code.
• Your work directly contributes to the security and data protection of this critical navigation mission.
• Your meticulous eye will also extend to reviewing the required documentation, ensuring that all aspects of the project are well-documented and understood.
• Be ready to embark on a journey across Europe, as your expertise may be needed at client sites and other CGI offices. Your commitment to excellence knows no boundaries.

Where will you be working?

You will join CGI Space and work on Mission Critical Systems within the Gaia infrastructure together with highly skilled engineers and specialists.

You will operate in a complex international environment where software development, security and space technology come together. Your work may also require travel across Europe to client sites and other CGI offices.
