CGI Nederland zoekt een Test Engineer / System Engineer voor het Galileo-programma. Je werkt in een multidisciplinair team aan de integratie en verificatie van een veilig systeem in een complexe ruimte-omgeving.

Je voert integratie- en verificatietests uit, maakt testprotocollen en bewaakt traceerbaarheid. Je beheert het testbench en werkt op locatie bij ESTEC Noordwijk met ESA en andere stakeholders samen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (HBO/WO) in een relevant vakgebied.
• Ervaring met handmatig testen.
• Ervaring in system engineering of technische testing.
• Sterke leer- en aanpassingsvermogen bij aangepaste testtools.
• Analytisch denkkader, nauwkeurigheid en resultaatgerichtheid.
• Flexibel en proactieve houding.
• Vloeiend Engels (mondeling en schriftelijk).

Contribute to Europe’s satellite navigation program

Are you analytical, precise, and persistent? This is your opportunity to contribute to the Galileo satellite navigation program, developed by the European Union in collaboration with ESA. As part of the testing team, you will be testing and verifying a mission-critical system at the heart of the Galileo infrastructure.

Your role in our team

As a Test Engineer / System Engineer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team working on the integration and verification of a secure operational system in a complex space environment.

Your responsibilities include:

• Performing integration and verification tests
• Producing and maintaining test procedures, traceability, and test documentation
• Investigating findings and archiving test evidence
• Managing and maintaining the test bench (tools and systems under test), including execution at ESTEC Noordwijk.

Requirements

Please note that holding an EU passport is mandatory for obtaining an EU Personal Security Clearance, which is part of our selection process.

• Bachelor’s degree (HBO or WO) in a relevant field
• Experience with manual testing
• Experience in system engineering or technical testing
• Strong ability to learn and work with custom test tools
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, perseverance, and a results-oriented approach
• Flexible and proactive attitude
• Comfortable in English, both spoken and written

You will be our ideal candidate if you are also:

• Interest or experience in the space sector or security systems
• Familiarity with server rooms or networking environments
• Familiar with IBM’s DOORS or similar requirement tools
• Basic scripting or programming familiarity
• Experience with Galileo systems is a plus

Where will you be working?

You will work within CGI Space on the Galileo satellite navigation program in an international and technically challenging environment. Your work will take place from our office and at the client location at ESTEC in Noordwijk, where you will work closely with ESA and other stakeholders.

Remote work is very limited in this role due to the nature of the systems and testing activities.
