Job summary

DHL Weert zoekt een Expedition medewerker die zorgt voor een soepele afhandeling van inkomende en uitgaande zendingen en administratie van vervoersdocumenten bewaakt. Je werkt in een dynamische logistieke omgeving met focus op nauwkeurigheid en efficiency.

De functie biedt een stabiele fulltime positie, een marktconform bruto maandsalaris en doorgroeimogelijkheden, inclusief trainingen en certificeringen op kosten van het bedrijf. Teamwork en een hands-on mentaliteit zijn gewenst.

Qualifications

• Goede beheersing van Engels in woord en schrift.
• Ervaring met het bedienen van EPT en heftruck.
• Basis logistieke ervaring.

Responsibilities

• Verifiëren van verzenddocumenten, etiketten en pakkettenlijsten.
• Lossen van inkomende vrachtwagens en sorteren van pallets naar de juiste rijstroken.
• Voorbereiden en laden van uitgaande zendingen volgens vervoerder, bestemming en urgentie.
• Toezicht houden op kwaliteit en hoeveelheid van zendingen, beheren van intercompany stromen en vertragingen melden aan teamleider.

Over de functie

As an Expedition worker you are responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments. This includes verifying shipping documentation, checking shipment quality and quantity, and ensuring pallets are sorted and loaded correctly.

• Validating shipping documentation, including forwarding instructions, transport labels, and packing lists
• Unloading incoming trucks and sort pallets into the correct lanes
• Preparing and load outbound shipments according to carrier, destination, and urgency
• Monitoring shipment quality and quantity, manage intercompany flows, and report delays or discrepancies to the team leader

Working hour:

The work takes place from Monday to Friday in two shifts:

• 06:00 – 15:00
• 15:00 – 00:00
