Job summary

DHL Weert zoekt een Expeditionsmedewerker om zorg te dragen voor een vlotte afhandeling van binnenkomende en uitgaande zendingen. Je controleert documenten, laadt pallets en zorgt voor correcte sortering, verwerking en verzending volgens prioriteit.

Je werkt in twee diensten van maandag tot vrijdag met duidelijke werktijden en ontvangt een marktconform salaris inclusief vakantiegeld en aanvullende toeslagen.

Qualifications

• Goede beheersing van Engels, mondeling en schriftelijk.
• Ervaring met het besturen van EPT en heftruck (certificering mogelijk via werkgever).
• Basislogistieke ervaring.

Responsibilities

• Validatie van verzenddocumenten zoals paklijsten en verzendinstructies.
• Lossen van inkomende vrachtwagens en sorteren van pallets.
• Voorbereiden en laden van uitgaande zendingen volgens carrier, bestemming en urgentie.
• Bewaken van kwaliteit en hoeveelheid van zendingen en melding van vertragingen

Over de functie

As an Expedition worker you are responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments. This includes verifying shipping documentation, checking shipment quality and quantity, and ensuring pallets are sorted and loaded correctly.

Your main responsiiblities are:

• Validating shipping documentation, including forwarding instructions, transport labels, and packing lists
• Unloading incoming trucks and sort pallets into the correct lanes
• Preparing and load outbound shipments according to carrier, destination, and urgency
• Monitoring shipment quality and quantity, manage intercompany flows, and report delays or discrepancies to the team leader

Working hour:

The work takes place from Monday to Friday in two shifts:

• 06:00 - 15:00
• 15:00 - 00:00
