Job summary

DHL Eindhoven is seeking an expedition employee to join the team, loading, moving and preparing goods for shipment to destinations across Europe. You will work full-time in a two-shift schedule with a gross hourly wage of €15.12, shift allowance, and travel reimbursement, with the opportunity to obtain a contract with DHL.

The role requires physical work and good Dutch and/or English, plus the possibility to develop through Manpower training programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old and eligible to work 40 hours per week
• Own transportation to travel to the work location
• Good command of Dutch and/or English
• Willingness to perform physical work
• Ability to apply for a Certificate of Conduct (VOG)

• Collecting shipments and checking transport documents
• Working with an EPT

Job description

No day is the same in the expedition department of DHL in Eindhoven. As an expedition employee, you will work together with colleagues on loading, moving and preparing goods for shipment to destinations throughout Europe. You will receive a gross hourly wage of €15.12, shift allowance, travel reimbursement and the opportunity to obtain a contract with DHL.

Your responsibilities include

• Loading and unloading trucks
• Moving goods within the warehouse
• Collecting shipments and checking transport documents
• Working with an EPT
• Supporting the shipping process

You will be working at DHL at a modern logistics location in Eindhoven. From this site, parcels and pallets are processed daily for transport throughout Europe. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that goods are loaded, checked and prepared for shipment on time. You will work in a committed team where cooperation, quality and a pleasant working atmosphere are key.

Working hours

You will work full-time in a two-shift schedule. The working hours are:

• 06:00 to 15:00
• 15:00 to 00:0

• At least 18 years old due to the nature of the work
• Available to work 40 hours per week
• Own transportation to travel to the work location
• Good command of the Dutch and/or English language
• Willingness to perform physical work
• Ability to apply for a Certificate of Conduct (VOG)
