Job description

Our partner is looking for an Events Marketing Manager based in Netherlands.

We are looking for a proactive, hands‑on Events Marketing Manager to lead engaging in‑person events and virtual experiences across the EMEA region. In this role, you will own the regional events strategy, from field events and sponsored conferences to customer experiences and monthly webinars. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams across marketing, sales, content, design, and partnerships to deliver impactful, locally relevant experiences. Your work will help strengthen audience engagement, generate qualified leads, accelerate sales opportunities, and contribute to measurable revenue growth. You will have the autonomy to shape regional event programs while benefiting from a collaborative, distributed working environment. This is an exciting opportunity for an organized, data‑driven marketer who combines creativity, operational excellence, and a strong understanding of B2B demand generation.

Accountabilities
  • Own and manage the EMEA events calendar, including field events, hosted customer and prospect experiences, sponsored conferences, and regional activations.

  • Collaborate with Demand Generation and cross‑functional stakeholders to define event objectives, target audiences, formats, budgets, and success metrics tailored to local markets.

  • Evaluate sponsorship opportunities, speaking engagements, and event formats to maximize audience reach, brand visibility, and business impact.

  • Coordinate all aspects of event execution, including venue and vendor management, timelines, speaker preparation, run‑of‑show planning, registration, and on‑site support.

  • Partner with Content, Brand, Product Marketing, Design, Partnerships, and Sales teams to develop compelling event materials and ensure consistency with broader marketing campaigns.

  • Plan and deliver approximately one EMEA webinar per month, managing topic selection, speaker coordination, content localization, registration pages, promotion, and post‑event follow‑up.

  • Develop and execute multichannel promotional campaigns across email, social media, and partner channels to increase registrations, attendance, and engagement.

  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing Operations to ensure accurate lead capture, efficient lead routing, timely follow‑up, and effective event‑driven sales engagement.

  • Monitor and analyze event performance, including attendance, engagement, pipeline contribution, revenue impact, and deal acceleration.

  • Maintain accurate reporting and attribution in collaboration with Revenue Operations and Marketing Operations teams.

  • Build and continuously improve regional playbooks, templates, documentation, and workflows to increase efficiency, scalability, and consistency.

  • Take full ownership of the EMEA events program within the first 90 days, ensuring smooth operations and strong alignment between regional marketing and sales teams.

Requirements:
  • At least 4 years of experience in event marketing, preferably within a B2B SaaS company or B2B technology environment.

  • Proven experience planning and delivering in‑person events across multiple formats, including field events, hosted experiences, customer meetups, and sponsored conferences, ideally across several EMEA markets.

  • Demonstrated experience managing webinars end to end, with enthusiasm for balancing a busy in‑person events calendar and approximately one webinar per month.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, competing deadlines, stakeholders, and time zones effectively.

  • Experience collaborating closely with Sales teams to support event‑driven lead follow‑up, pipeline generation, and revenue objectives.

  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms such as Marketo or similar tools, as well as Salesforce or comparable CRM systems.

  • Familiarity with webinar platforms such as Livestorm, Zoom, or Sequel, alongside event management and registration tools.

  • Understanding of lead capture processes, UTM tracking, campaign attribution, event reporting, and pipeline measurement.

  • Ability to collaborate with Marketing Operations or Revenue Operations teams to troubleshoot data flows and maintain accurate reporting.

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed, cross‑functional environment.

  • A proactive, adaptable, and solutions‑oriented mindset, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to changing priorities.

  • A data‑driven approach to decision‑making, balancing measurable business outcomes with thoughtful, attendee‑centered experiences.

  • Willingness and ability to travel at least 15% of the time for regional events, conferences, and on‑site support.

  • Professional working proficiency in relevant European languages is an advantage, depending on the markets supported.

Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation: Starting salary of $93,000–$110,000 USD annually, or the equivalent in local currency, depending on experience and adjusted to reflect market rates.

  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage: 100% coverage of medical, dental, vision, mental health, and supplemental insurance premiums for employees and their families.

  • Generous parental leave: 16 weeks of paid parental leave.

  • Flexible time off: Unlimited paid time off to support work‑life balance and personal well‑being.

  • Remote work support: Stipends to help create a productive and comfortable remote working environment.

  • Wellness benefits: Dedicated wellness stipends to support physical and mental well‑being.

  • Professional development: A dedicated budget to support ongoing learning, skills development, and career growth.

  • Collaborative remote environment: The opportunity to work with cross‑functional teams across multiple markets and time zones.

  • Meaningful impact: The autonomy to shape regional event strategies, improve marketing performance, and contribute directly to pipeline growth and business outcomes.

  • Inclusive workplace culture: A commitment to equitable hiring practices, diversity, collaboration, and creating an environment where people can thrive.
