Job summary

The Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel is seeking an Event Operations Management Trainee to help craft memorable meetings and events. You will contribute creative ideas to enhance the guest journey and bring personal style to every experience, supporting events from small meetings to weddings and conferences.

You’ll collaborate with a dynamic, international team, gain hands-on coaching, and enjoy an experiential learning environment with opportunities to grow within Marriott International.

Qualifications

• Flexible, dynamic team member capable of adapting to changing event needs.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong multitasking skills to manage multiple tasks during events.
• Willingness to work varied shifts (morning & evening).

• Assist guests during meetings, weddings, and conferences.
• Ensure proper execution of events in meeting spaces and public areas.

Job description

As Event Operations Management Trainee you are responsible for providing our guests with an inspirational meeting or event, with unique discoveries that they will always remember and want to share with their world. You will use your creativity to come up with ideas for enhancing the guest journey throughout their events and surprise them in the best possible way.

The work is very diverse, one day you assist guests during a small meeting and the other day you serve our guests at a wedding or conference. You will ensure proper execution of all Events in our meeting rooms. When setting up a meeting room, you like to use your creativity and think out of the box.
