Vanderlande seeks a Finance Team Lead Tax & Compliance Europe to lead the regional tax and compliance team and drive a robust tax framework across European operations.

You will oversee day-to-day tax compliance, collaborate with Group Tax, Finance, Accounting, Legal, Treasury and local stakeholders, and translate legislative changes into practical business actions. A proactive, collaborative leader with strong communication skills is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in tax, tax compliance, or related finance function within international environment.
• Experience leading, coaching, or coordinating a team.
• Good knowledge of corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and general tax compliance requirements.
• Experience with tax authorities, auditors, and external advisors.
• Experience with process improvement and standardization initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach, and develop the Europe Tax & Compliance team.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant execution of tax compliance and reporting activities across Europe.
• Coordinate corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and other tax compliance activities with Group Tax and local Finance teams.
• Support transfer pricing compliance activities and documentation requirements.
• Act as a key contact for tax authorities, auditors, external advisors, and internal stakeholders on operational tax matters.
• Identify and manage tax risks, escalate issues as needed.
• Translate changes in tax legislation into practical guidance for the business.
• Maintain and improve tax controls, documentation, and compliance processes.
• Drive standardization and process improvements across European tax & compliance activities.
