European Satellite Workshop & Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities & Requirements
- Plan personnel, machines, materials, and operating supplies.
- Support in selecting, recruiting, training, and scheduling employees.
- Plan, monitor, and assess work processes.
- Build- up synergies / expert competences between the Satellite workshops for specific equipment.
- Recommend and implement improvement measures.
- Ensure compliance with MES-guidelines, standards, and procedures.
- Implement MES production, quality, and customer standards.
- Document deviations and carry out corrective measures.
- Ensure functionality and reliability of workshop devices through preventative maintenance.
- Promote a safe, healthy working environment using defined standards and procedures.
- Support budget planning related to production costs and overheads.
- Assist in redesigning work devices and production conversions.
- Control and monitor production tests.
- Identify defects and introduce measures for troubleshooting.
- Develop and implement measures for preventative quality assurance.
- At least 3 - 5 years’ professional experience in turbo machinery.
- Graduate from Apprentice training or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in dealing with customers and suppliers.
- Experience in the turbo machinery industry (e.g., steam turbines, compressors, screw compressors).
- Proven experience as a team leader.
- Experience in selecting and purchasing tools and workshop machines.
- Good IT knowledge (e.g., MS Office, SAP).
- Ability to understand and follow work instructions in English.
- Capability to understand and implement the necessary workshop infrastructure for inspection and minor repairs on Everllence and 3rd party equipment across an agreed product range.
- Ability to identify and liaise with local external service companies that can support workshop activities.
- Understanding of Everllence inspection processes & protocols.
- Good communication skills at all company levels.
- Independent, structured, consistent, and customer-oriented working method.
- Excellent commitment, good decision-making skills, ability to manage stress, and self-assertion.
- Service-oriented, economically-minded, and capable of independent and entrepreneurial thinking and working.

- We are located in Schiedam (Rotterdam).
- Our office is easily accessible by car (Highway A13 and A20). We have available and dedicated parking spots.
