Job summary

JDE Peet’s is seeking an European Procurement Process Owner to drive governance, Lean Six Sigma optimization, and digital transformation across Europe in a global matrix setup.

Lead end-to-end Source-to-Contract and Procure-to-Pay processes, monitor KPIs with cross-functional teams, and embed controls to support audits and delegation of authority. This is a six-month assignment with hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Degree in business, supply chain, procurement, engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of procurement, process transformation or continuous improvement in a global matrix.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification required.
• Experience with end-to-end procurement processes, policy governance and KPI tracking.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize Source-to-Contract and Procure-to-Pay processes across Europe.
• Lead Lean Six Sigma reviews to reduce waste, redesign workflows and shorten lead times.
• Define and monitor KPIs via dashboards for efficiency and value delivery with Procurement Data & Insights.
• Maintain procurement control framework aligned with authority delegation and audits.
• Drive adoption of digital transformation through playbooks, change management and training.

Job description

Drive strategic impact and elevate procurement operational excellence across Europe at JDE Peet’s. As European Procurement Process Owner, you lead process governance, Lean Six Sigma optimizations, and continuous digital transformation in a dynamic, global matrix organization.

Key responsibilities:

• Own, govern, and optimize end-to-end Source-to-Contract and Procure-to-Pay process frameworks across Europe in alignment with global standards and internal control expectations.
• Lead structured process reviews applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste, redesign workflows, shorten lead times, and drive continuous improvement.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators via dashboards to evaluate efficiency, touchless processing, policy compliance, and total value delivery in collaboration with Procurement Data & Insights.
• Maintain the procurement control framework, embedding controls by design aligned with delegation of authority and supporting audit requirements and remediation.
• Drive process adoption, enablement, and digital transformation through practical playbooks, targeted change management, user training, and close alignment with IT and digital procurement teams.

Functie-eisen

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• You have a minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, procurement excellence, process transformation, or continuous improvement within a global, matrixed organization.
• You possess a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• You have proven experience with end-to-end procurement processes (Source-to-Contract and Procure-to-Pay), policy governance, and KPI tracking.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

This assignment is for the duration of 6 months.

• A salary between €5900 and €7950 gross per month based on 40 hours
• A contract for year of 40 hours per week
• A monthly Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 8.76% of your salary that you can flexibly deploy
• A good travel allowance; 100% public transport reimbursement or € 0.23 per km
• 25 vacation days; 5 days can be included in the IKB budget
