Job summary

NewPort, Moerdijk, is seeking an Operations Manager Europe to lead the operation behind every tank container. You will drive the European P&L and oversee a multi-country operation through country managers and a ~60 FTE team, reporting to the GME and Global Operations Director.

You will translate market developments into annual plans, improve procedures, and build a strong network with customers, carriers and suppliers while guiding a fast-paced, internationally oriented team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree required in a relevant field.
• Extensive experience leading large teams in logistics, transport or supply chain.
• Proven ability to set targets, monitor KPIs and deliver results.
• Knowledge of IMDG, ADR and deep sea operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the European operations behind tank container activities through managers and direct reports.
• Translate market developments into an annual operational plan and own the Europe P&L.
• Identify bottlenecks, develop improved workflows, and support agents and the NM system.
• Build and maintain a network with customers, carriers, and suppliers; collaborate with the Management Team.
