nLighten, a fast-growing European edge data centre platform, is seeking a Financial Control Manager to strengthen monthly financial results across NL, BE, DE and CH. You will own the integrity of numbers, review close, and provide accounting judgement to support forecasting.

You will lead a small team and partner with Operations, Billing, Sales and Group Finance. In this hands-on role you’ll implement strong controls, ensure audit-readiness and help connect operational activity to accounting

Qualifications

Strong accounting foundation with hands-on month-end, quarter-end and year-end close.
Experience in data center/digital infrastructure or asset-intensive environments preferred.
IFA/RR governance and audit readiness knowledge is advantageous.

Responsabilités

Own and review monthly, quarterly and year-end close across scope entities.
Assess transactions for correct classification (Capex vs Opex, fixed assets, projects, intercompany).
Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and investigate anomalies.
Ensure capital expenditure is properly allocated to projects and assets.
Provide clear explanations of actual performance and accounting judgements to senior stakeholders.
Support statutory accounts and external audits; ensure audit readiness.
Partner with FP&A for reliable actuals and insights for forecasts.
