Job summary

HG is seeking a Digital Content & E-commerce Intern to support content creation, optimisation and management across platforms in Europe. You will work with the Online Growth & Content Director, assisting SEO, translations, video content and Canva-based visuals for Aldi, Bol.com and other retailers.

The role emphasizes ownership, initiative and practical results within a fast‑growing international team, with a hybrid work setup from Almere, Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Commercial Economics, E-commerce, or related field.
• Strong interest in digital content, e-commerce, and online marketing.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and organised.
• Comfortable with Excel and other digital tools.
• Eager to learn new systems and platforms.
• Proactive and takes initiative.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch is a plus.
• Curious and comfortable using AI tools to improve efficiency and output.
• Enjoy creating digital content and engaging with social platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
• Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar tools.
• Enjoy editing short videos and creating engaging visuals.

Responsibilities

• Create and update product content for websites and online retailers.
• Write and improve product titles, descriptions, and bullet points.
• Upload product images, videos and enhanced brand content.
• Assist with SEO and keyword research.
• Check listings for accuracy and consistency.
• Support translations and localisation for European markets.
• Create and adapt short-form video content for platforms like Amazon, TikTok, and Instagram.
• Create visual assets in Canva for banners and campaigns.
• Organise and maintain digital content libraries.
• Monitor content performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Online, Brand, and Local Marketing teams on content projects.
