Job summary

Joybuy, JD.com's dedicated European retail platform, seeks a Category Manager in Rotterdam to select top brands, drive category growth, and define GTM strategies. You will lead sourcing, negotiations, and launch, ensuring a seamless shopper experience across Europe.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams on product listings, pricing, and promotions, leveraging BI tools to optimize category performance and customer engagement in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with ~5 years in retail merchandising as a category manager or in commercial marketing.
• Experience in contract negotiation and driving category growth.
• Proficiency in Excel and business intelligence tools.

Responsibilities

• Select brands and products for designated categories.
• Implement strategies to support growth and a strong customer base.
• Lead end-to-end onboarding of new brands, including sourcing, negotiations, and launch.
• Develop and optimize category storefronts and product listings.
• Collaborate across teams to improve brand pages, categories, and search.
• Plan and execute promotional campaigns with marketing for impact on sales.
