Job summary

Royal IHC in the Netherlands seeks an Area Sales Manager Europe to drive commercial growth across Europe for dredging and maritime solutions. You will own end-to-end sales processes from initial engagement to contract signature, building executive-level relationships with customers and partners.

You will develop regional market strategy, monitor industry developments, and identify opportunities, coordinating internal teams to win complex tenders while delivering sustainable growth for Royal IHC.

Qualifications

• Senior commercial or business development experience in maritime, dredging, offshore or capital equipment.
• Established network within the European maritime sector.
• Ability to build relationships at operational, tactical and strategic levels.
• Experience selling technical products and managing complex negotiations.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership.
• Entrepreneurial mindset focused on growth.
• Fluent in English and Dutch; other European languages are an advantage.
• Based in the Netherlands and willing to travel 25%+.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the European sales strategy including account plans, forecasts and sales objectives.
• Strengthen Royal IHC's position by monitoring industry developments and identifying new opportunities.
• Build and maintain a strong network of customers, partners and key stakeholders.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers and contribute to their long-term success.
• Identify opportunities, lead proposals, and coordinate internal teams during tenders and negotiations.
