Job summary

William Blair seeks an Analyst for its European Private Capital Markets team. You will execute in-depth analyses to support new business development, transaction execution and private capital raising solutions for high-growth tech‑driven companies.

Based in London or Amsterdam, you will perform research and financial modelling, apply valuation methods, and assist in due diligence under team leadership. You will train and mentor summer interns as the team grows, presenting results to investors

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required.
Experience in financial services preferred; exposure to private capital, growth equity or technology is an advantage.
Strong analytical, writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform due diligence, research, analysis and documentation of potential and live transactions.
Draft management presentations highlighting financial analyses and research results for private capital investors.
Assist in the development, production and delivery of proposals and presentations to founders, management teams and investors.
Draft marketing materials that emphasise William Blair's private capital markets approach.
Participate in client meetings and drafting sessions.
Research technology sectors identified by senior bankers to target clients or sub-sectors.
Support client relationship development by understanding client needs and providing timely service.
