Job summary

World Resources Institute Europe seeks an FP&A Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting and analysis for our Europe finance function. This hybrid role requires roughly two days in the office; The Hague is the preferred location, with London also possible.

Existing work authorization is required, as WRI cannot sponsor visas for this position in either location. The initial contract is for 1 year with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or finance.
• An accounting qualification (ACCA/CPA/CMA or equivalent) is advantageous.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain annual budgets for WRI Europe entities.
• Prepare periodic forecasts and headcount-driven planning.
• Provide budget-to-actual analysis with variance commentary.
• Maintain planning assumptions and FX rates across EUR/GBP/USD.
• Support month-end close and donor audit documentation.
• Manage grants budgets and cost recovery within donor caps.
• Develop dashboards and reports for Europe Operations Director and Regional Manager.
