Job summary

World Resources Institute is seeking a Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis for a hybrid role largely based in The Hague, with London as an alternative. This 1‑year contract covers budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting for WRI Europe entities in euros and pounds, coordinating with global FP&A teams and donors.

You will oversee cash forecasts, FX considerations, and scenario analyses, and participate in audits and donor reporting. English required; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance or related field is required or advantageous.
• Full‑time relevant experience in accounting processes, year‑end closing and audits.
• English written and spoken proficiency; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the annual budget for the Europe entities in Adaptive Planning (Workday).
• Prepare periodic forecasts and reforecasts including labour and non‑labour planning.
• Produce monthly/quarterly budget‑to‑actual reporting with variance analysis.
