Job summary

CRH invites ambitious graduates to join the Europe Finance Graduate Programme starting September 2025. Over three years, you rotate every 12 months across finance teams in Europe, with at least one rotation outside your home country.

You will study for ACCA or CIMA, fully funded by CRH, and aim to become a qualified accountant. Successful candidates will gain broad exposure to Group Finance, Financial Reporting, Internal Audit, Taxation, and more, while building a global network and developing

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business (Master or Bachelor).
• Fluent English; additionally Fluent in one of: French, Polish, Dutch, Slovak or Romanian.
• EU work eligibility (EU/EEA Passport).
• Willingness to relocate across Europe for rotations (1–2).
• Committed to obtaining ACCA or CIMA qualifications.
• Self-motivated with drive to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Work full time in one finance team, rotating every 12 months.

The Programme

You can expect to have three 12-month rotations in different finance roles across the Company in Europe. Mobility is at the heart of this programme, and your 3 rotations will be in a different location with at least one being outside your home country.

As you progress through the Programme, you will build your technical finance knowledge and expand the breadth of your finance skills. You will complete either ACCA or CIMA qualification and finish the Programme as a fully qualified accountant.

Responsibilities

• You will work full time for one of our finance teams, rotating to a new team at the end of each 12 months. Roles may be in Group Finance, Financial Reporting, Internal Audit, Taxation, Financial Controlling, Divisional Finance.
• At least one of your rotations (and ideally 2) will be outside your home country. We will provide mobility support for this rotation, such as: housing search assistance, housing allowance, travel, international medical insurance. Potential locations are: Ireland, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Romania, France, UK.
• You will study for and complete either ACCA or CIMA qualifications within the 3 years of the Programme (mandatory). CRH will fully fund your professional qualification.
• You will take part in a tailored development programme consisting of in-person and virtual personal and professional development modules.

What we require

• Hold or expect to hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree of a high standard in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related discipline
• Have fluent English plus fluency in one of the following European languages: French, Polish, Dutch, Slovak, Romanian
• Eligibility to work in the EU without visa restrictions (i.e., hold an EU or EEA passport)
• Willingness to relocate across Europe for at least 1 of the 3 rotations (ideally 2 of the rotations)
• Committed to gaining a professional accounting qualification (ACCA or CIMA)
• Motivated self-starter with the determination and drive to succeed.
