Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Compliance Data Analyst - Europe to transform data from business systems into reliable reporting and actionable insights for the European compliance organization. You will work with stakeholders across the EU, applying data-quality checks and turning analyses into clear messages non-technical colleagues can use.

Fluent English is required; knowledge of logistics, customs or compliance processes is a plus.

Qualifications

• HBO / Bachelor level in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, Economics, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business or a comparable field; or equivalent practical experience.
• MBO-4 with relevant experience in data, reporting, administration, operations or logistics may be suitable when combined with a clear willingness to develop further.
• Formal training in data visualization, reporting, Excel, Power BI or a related discipline is an advantage.
• Affinity with logistics, freight forwarding, customs or compliance processes, and an interest in how operational data is generated and used.
• Experience with Cargo Wise or another transport, customs or operational business system.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Query, SQL, data visualization, workflow automation or comparable tools.
• Fluent oral and written English is a must
• Additional (major) European languages would be an asset
• VGB screening is part of the process

Responsibilities

• Data analysis and reporting: Translate business questions into structured analytical approaches, defining scope, data requirements, assumptions and expected outputs before starting the analysis.
• Data quality and information management: Apply practical data-quality checks and help define standards for completeness, consistency, accuracy, timeliness and traceability.
• Business and compliance insight: Use a working understanding of logistics, freight forwarding and customs to interpret operational data and recognize when a result may not reflect the underlying process.
• Digital tools and continuous improvement: Use appropriate tools such as Excel, Power Query, Power BI, SharePoint or other approved data and workflow tools to improve analysis and reporting.
• Stakeholder support and projects: Provide clear, timely support to European stakeholders who need help interpreting data, reports or analytical findings related to compliance.
