Job summary
Alicat Scientific B.V. in Duiven (NL) seeks an Application Engineer for Europe to support customers with flow and pressure measurement solutions across diverse industries.
The role includes training, evaluating inquiries, and collaborating with engineering teams in Europe and the US to identify optimal solutions. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s or master’s in science, engineering, or math, fluent English, and a second European language (German, French, or Italian).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science, engineering, or mathematics.
- Strong written and verbal English skills are required (C1 level).
- Fluency in one other European language (German, French or Italian) is required.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate inquiries from customers including questions, quotes, orders or support requests.
- Offer high‑tech solutions to OEMs, business partners, or students across diverse industries.
- Discuss customer applications with engineering teams in Europe or the US to identify best solutions.
- Support customers with troubleshooting in the European lab or on-site visits.
- Assist distribution partners with questions, quotes, and troubleshooting via email or phone.
