Job summary

DAF Trucks NV in Eindhoven is seeking an Intern to support a pan-European review of Marketing & Sales communications under the Green Claims Directive. You will audit materials across HQ, subsidiaries and dealers, flag amendments, and help standardise environmental claims.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Legal, Product Development and Sustainability teams, developing guidelines and templates while gaining coaching and industry exposure.

Qualifications

• Currently studying Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Sustainability, Law, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and enjoy reviewing, organising and improving information and processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and a keen eye for detail.
• Proactive, structured and able to work independently while collaborating with colleagues from different countries and functions.
• Strong interest in sustainability, environmental legislation and the role of marketing communications in supporting compliance and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a full audit of existing Marketing & Sales communication materials across HQ, Subsidiaries and Dealers.
• Review communications against Green Claims Directive requirements and identify areas requiring amendment or further substantiation.
• Create and maintain an inventory of environmental and sustainability claims used within the organisation.
• Liaise with stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Legal, Product Development and Sustainability teams.
• Support the correction, updating and standardisation of existing communication materials.
• Develop practical guidelines, templates and best practices for compliant communications.
• Assist in implementing a governance and approval process to ensure future communications remain compliant.
• Support project reporting and present findings and recommendations to management.
