Job summary

A prominent energy services firm in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced Accounting and Finance Specialist to oversee financial accounting for its EU subsidiaries. You will manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with local laws and supporting external accountants. Candidates should have at least 5 years' experience in multinational companies and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Proficiency in English and experience with SAP S/4HANA are essential. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of accounting/finance experience within multinational companies.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and at least one major EU GAAP.
• Proficiency in another EU language is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for assigned EU subsidiaries.
• Act as the primary accounting focal point for the Dutch entity.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and VAT legislation.

Strong technical accounting knowledge
