Job summary

DCN Diving in the Netherlands seeks a cost analyst to drive quotation calculations, pricing strategies and profitability analyses. You will assess material, production and indirect costs, analyze drawings, and manage calculation data in the ERP system.

Your role supports make-or-buy decisions and contract negotiations. The ideal candidate has a technical or commercial degree and strong Excel/ERP skills, with a structured, numbers-driven mindset and good communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent.
• Experience with industrial cost price calculations and pricing.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure economic feasibility and profitability of quotations.
• Maintain transparent calculation documentation.
• Follow internal guidelines for calculations.
• Identify cost savings and process optimization opportunities.
• Support contract negotiations from a calculation perspective.

This is what you are going to do:

• Performing pre-calculations, quotation calculations, and post-calculations


• Determining material, production, personnel, and indirect costs


• Analyzing technical drawings, parts lists, and work descriptions


• Requesting, assessing, and comparing supplier quotations


• Developing pricing strategies together with Sales and management


• Preparing quotation calculations, including risk analyses


• Managing and updating calculation data in the ERP system


• Contributing to make-or-buy decisions


• Supporting contract negotiations from a calculation perspective


• Performing profitability analyses and contribution margin calculations

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the economic feasibility and profitability of quotations


• Maintaining transparent, well-substantiated calculation documentation


• Complying with internal guidelines and procedures for calculations
