Qualifications

• Must be a university student, preferably in your final or second-to-last year of a Master’s level.
• You must be enrolled at your university for the entire duration of the internship.
• Working languages are English and French; knowledge of one is required.

Responsibilities

• Exploring how future positioning, navigation and timing could be made more resilient using space-based assets.
• Assessing which ground-segment functions could be moved to space or supported by inter-satellite information.
• Investigating inter-satellite links, distributed processing, and common time/reference frame maintenance.
• Identifying gaps for autonomy and resilience, including potential new technologies or architectures.
• Developing a roadmap towards a more autonomous and resilient space-based PNT system.
