Job summary

Telespazio Belgium is seeking an ESA Academy Coordinator for Engagement Activities to join the team at ESTEC in the Netherlands or Belgium locations. The role focuses on coordinating engagement programmes, building educational partnerships, and delivering space education events across Europe.

The position requires a STEM background, strong organizational skills, and fluency in English, with a hybrid work scheme in the Netherlands. A relocation package is offered.

Qualifications

• University degree in a STEM subject.
• Additional university qualification in STEM education or secondary-level teaching in a STEM subject.
• Experience in instructional design and modern STEM pedagogical approaches.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recurrent editions of the Engagement Programme elements with event organisers and sponsored students.
• Define and implement new Engagement Programme elements and related processes and resources.
• Implement the Book a Space Programme with an online automated support matching process.
• Liaise with ESA Directorates and partner organisations for joint educational events.
• Collaborate with ESA colleagues to support student projects and study cases in space fields.
• Coordinate calls for applications, promotions, selections, and surveys for Engagement activities.
