Oaklins in Amsterdam invites graduates to a 3-month internship in Debt Advisory at the Zuidas campus. You will join a small, ambitious team and gain hands-on exposure to acquisition finance, corporate lending, and restructuring while working closely with both junior and senior advisors.

You will learn valuation, financial modelling and contracting, with on-the-job training and real responsibilities from day one, potentially leading to a full-time Analyst role.

Qualifications

• Excellent academic background and (a completed or almost completed) Master's degree in Business Economics or related
• Excellent Dutch and English communication skills, both written and verbally
• Strong analytical skills
• Proven team player with the ability to work independently
• Proficiency in MS Office

Responsibilities

• Assist in origination and execution of financing structures in Debt Advisory
• Work on acquisition finance (LBO), corporate lending, asset-based lending, restructuring and recapitalizations
• Learn valuation and financial modelling and participate in contracting processes
• Collaborate with junior and senior Oaklins professionals on multiple transactions

What you will do and learn

Oaklins' Debt Advisory professionals support public and private companies, management teams, shareholders, financial sponsors and debt providers with the origination and execution of (complex) financing structures. Having an independent position, we use our knowledge and our network to identify solutions and financial institutions best suited to our clients’ needs. As a debt intern, you will be actively involved in acquisition finance (LBO), corporate lending, asset-based lending, restructuring and recapitalizations.You will work along junior and senior Oaklins professionals and participate in many aspects of Debt Advisory transactions.

We are looking for graduates who are motivated, eager to learn, and are passionate about Debt Advisory. The internship comes with a high level of responsibility and the opportunity to experience a steep learning curve. This internship offers a unique opportunity to start as a full-time Analyst at our Debt Advisory team.
