Job summary

Russells Technical Products in the Netherlands is seeking a Test Technician for Environmental Test Chambers. You will prepare chambers for testing, connect utilities, and assist with refrigeration preparation to ensure readiness for the tests.

Responsibilities include running electrical power to chambers and accessories, wiring for water and air systems, refrigerant handling, and documenting setup using checklists and Excel charts.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing/industry experience with electrical systems.
• 2+ years in manufacturing or environmental test chambers.
• Basic understanding of electrical concepts and safety.
• Ability to read and follow drawings, procedures and checklists.
• Experience using soldering and brazing.
• Use of basic hand and power tools and electrical testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Utility Connection – prepare and connect utilities for chambers and accessories.
• Run and connect main electrical power to environmental test chambers.
• Connect power to chamber accessories and equipment.
• Water Systems – work with water supply systems and connect lines.
• Run compressed air lines for dry-air systems and components.
• Pre-charge refrigeration systems and safely recover refrigerant.
• Document setup with checklists and test records.
• Use Excel to enter, organize, and manage job information.
