Job summary

TRUMPF is seeking a Mechanical Install Engineer level 1 to support the on-site build of Drive Laser systems at ASML in Veldhoven. The role involves cleanroom assembly, integration of interfaces, and hands-on tasks under supervision with a MECH Engineer.

You will receive weeks of classroom and on-the-job training at our headquarters in Germany, with two shifts and occasional travel. You should have an MBO in mechatronics or a related field, strong teamwork, and a proactive, service-minded

Qualifications

• MBO education in a technical field (Mechatronics preferred).
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly.
• Flexible, collaborative, proactive attitude with customer focus.
• Willingness to travel abroad and work in two shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Mechanically assemble/disassemble components in a cleanroom environment.
• Follow established protocols and work under supervision with another MECH Engineer.
• Verify material quality and availability; order tools/materials as needed.
• Connect water, gas, air and electrical interfaces; perform alignment and leveling measurements.
• Conduct pressure-drop tests and basic leak troubleshooting; document issues.
• Record progress and hours in SIS; contribute improvement ideas.
• Participate in two-week classroom and hands-on training at headquarters in Germany.
