The role focuses on translating patent documents related to wireless communication technologies. Qualificações

Responsibilities

• Translate telecommunications-related patent documents, including:
  • Specifications
  • Claims
  • Abstracts
• Ensure technical accuracy, logical consistency, and compliance with patent language conventions
• Follow provided terminology, style guides, and QA requirements
• Cooperate with review or QA processes and handle reasonable revisions when required

Qualifications

• Dutch is mother tongue, with high proficiency in English
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Network Security, or other related engineering disciplines
• At least 3 years of experience (or over 500,000 words) in telecommunications patent translation; candidates with hands‑on experience in wireless communication–related projects are preferred
• Solid understanding of patent document structure, especially a clear distinction between claims and specifications
• Basic knowledge of or familiarity with one or more of the following telecommunications technology areas:
  • Wireless resource management
  • Access technologies
  • Core network architecture
  • Next‑generation access networks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience translating patents related to LTE / 5G NR / 3GPP standards
• Familiarity with RRC / MAC / PHY layers, wireless resource management, and scheduling mechanisms
• Knowledge of MIMO / beamforming / Massive MIMO technologies
• Experience providing patent translation services for major telecommunications companies (e.g. Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia)
• Familiarity with Wi‑Fi (802.11ax / 802.11be), NB‑IoT, or LTE‑M technologies
