Job summary

Ventula Consulting Ltd. is seeking an Engineering Manager in The Hague to lead a squad of 6–10 engineers and data scientists. You will own delivery from planning through deployment, shaping architecture, and collaborating with Product Owners and operations to translate business needs into robust engineering solutions.

The role requires hands-on technical background (Python) and cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP), with a focus on AI/ML, optimisation, or simulation to boost operational efficiency.

Qualifications

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to join a global logistics organisation, leading a team building technology that improves how complex operations are planned and managed.

This is a permanent opportunity for a technically strong leader who enjoys developing people, owning delivery and turning business requirements into reliable production systems.

The role

• Lead a squad of 6–10 engineers and data scientists, setting priorities and supporting their development.

• Confidence reviewing technical designs, resolving delivery challenges and communicating trade-offs.
• Strong stakeholder management and people leadership skills.
• Experience with AI/ML, optimisation or simulation would be beneficial, particularly within logistics, manufacturing or industrial environments.

Salary: £110,000 per annum
