Job summary

Qualifications
- MSc in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering with dynamics and control specialization.
- Experience with engine and aftertreatment controller development for EU/NA emission and OBD rules.
- Experience with Six Sigma: DMAIC, DFSS, FMEA, Monte Carlo.
- Knowledge of SPICE development models; IREB cert preferred.
- Testing in SIL, HIL and RCP on engines is a plus.
- Extensive Matlab/Simulink knowledge; Doors Next Generation is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop advanced control concepts for heavy‑duty diesel engines and aftertreatment systems.
- Translate emission, OBD and product requirements into robust control strategies.
- Lead technical integration between suppliers and internal stakeholders for software and calibration.
- Verify and validate controls using SIL, HIL, and RCP on engine/vehicle tests.
- Create and maintain clear documentation of controller requirements.
- Support calibration engineers with initial calibration and tool/process improvements.
- Collaborate across controls, software, calibration, diagnostics and system engineering.
