Peak Performance Recruitment is assisting a leading MRO in Amsterdam to recruit a Head of Asset Management/Powerplant. You will lead the CFM engine team, own the P&L across the engine lifecycle, and drive decisions from buying to selling engines, rebuilds and teardowns.

You will shape asset strategy for 30–40 engines, manage purchases, leases and sales, and build relationships with airlines, traders and lessors globally. Fluent English and relocation to the Netherlands are required.

Qualifications

• Detailed technical knowledge of CFM56-5B/-7B and CF34 engines.
• Experience leading and motivating a small team in an airline, MRO, engine trading or teardown context.
• Strong negotiation skills with a commercial mindset.
• Fluent English; willingness to relocate to the Netherlands and travel ~20%.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop a team of asset managers covering trading, shop visits, workscoping and teardowns.
• Set asset strategy for 30–40 engines (CFM56-5B, CF56-7B, CF34), leased and non-leased.
• Own the P&L for the portfolio across engine lifecycle: buying, teardown, rebuilds and sales.
• Decide teardown vs. rebuild vs. sale for engines returning from lease; re-lease or sell as needed.
• Manage purchase, lease and sale of used engines and engine material.
• Oversee shop visits, table inspections, material planning, time and cost control.
• Supervise teardowns and manage part repairs with third‑party vendors.
• Protect and maximise residual value of assets under management.
• Build trusted relationships with airlines, MROs, traders and lessors worldwide.
