Job summary

Atlas NextWave is seeking a Project Controller in Amersfoort to serve as a trusted finance partner through the project lifecycle. You’ll manage budgets, forecasts, invoicing, and financial reporting while coordinating with cross-functional teams across international projects.

The role emphasizes a hands-on, commercially driven approach and close collaboration with project managers to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

An HBO/Bachelor's degree in Business Economics, Business Administration or a related field — or equivalent expertise gained through experience.
At least three years' experience in a similar role.
Strong analytical skills and a structured, accurate approach.
Confidence working with SAP, Excel and other MS Office tools.
Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
Hands-on mindset, commercial curiosity and the ability to manage deadlines independently and with a team.
Experience in project controlling and contract management is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Managing project budgets, forecasts, cost control and financial reporting.
Overseeing invoicing, cash flow and project financial administration.
Identifying and managing commercial risks, contractual obligations and claims.
Supporting sales proposals with cost calculations and credit checks.
Working with customers on commercial matters and potential negotiations.
Coordinating with legal, procurement, logistics and tax specialists across international teams.
Ensuring accurate project setup in SAP and compliance with internal financial controls.
