Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks a Project Controller to join the Finance team in the Netherlands. You will partner with Project Managers to oversee financial and commercial performance of energy projects across grid infrastructure, HVDC systems, and storage solutions.

You will manage contract analysis, cost/margin tracking, forecasting, invoicing, and risk management across international project teams, ensuring IFRS 15 compliance and accurate SAP data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (HBO level) in Business Economics, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar project controller/finance role.
• Strong project finance planning and execution skills with budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
• Expertise in IFRS reporting, month-end closing, and SAP data maintenance.
• Fluent Dutch and English communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial and commercial activities during project execution, including contract analysis and cash flow management.
• Support bidding and proposal processes with cost calculations.
• Identify and assess risks and opportunities, and develop mitigation plans.
• Oversee contract management, risk and claims handling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional international teams.
• Provide legal and financial guidance across project phases.
• Coordinate logistics, tax, warranties, and insurance matters.
• Ensure accurate project setup in SAP and IFRS 15 compliance.
