Job summary

Dyson in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced Senior VAT Manager for EMEA to lead the VAT function across multiple jurisdictions. You will oversee monthly filings, work with external advisors and drive accurate VAT reporting.

This role requires a degree in accounting or tax qualification, strong VAT technical knowledge, and proven leadership to guide two VAT specialists and partner with stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in managing large VAT compliance programs across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong technical VAT knowledge and ability to advise the business.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to partner with external advisors.
• Ability to lead a small team and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with SAP ERP data extraction for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead VAT compliance across the EMEA region and manage external advisors.
• Oversee monthly VAT filings, Intrastat, EC Sales Lists, and audits when required.
• Ensure timely VAT payments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Provide VAT advice on business initiatives and system implementations.
• Interact with authorities and internal stakeholders to improve controls.
