Job summary

Cover Genius is seeking a Senior Claims Manager for the EMEA region to establish the operational foundation for hyper-growth within a heavily regulated environment. You will lead a multi-country claims organization, drive strict SLA compliance, onboard partners, and maintain rigorous performance and loss ratio metrics.

You will champion AI-driven transformation, automation, and human-in-the-loop strategies while ensuring regulatory governance across FCA, EU IDD/EIOPA, and local laws.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of claims leadership in an insurtech or insurance environment.
• Over 10 years handling Travel, A&H, Marine or Motor claims; multi-LOB experience a plus.
• Operational experience in project management, QA, risk identification & onboarding.
• Deep familiarity with cross-border regulatory environments (FCA, EU IDD/EIOPA), multi-currency settlements, and multilingual operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing claims organization across regional managers and assessors in a hybrid setting.
• Drive SLA compliance, manage escalations, and ensure staffing coverage in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead audits, build insurer relationships, and elevate technical expertise across staff levels.
• Partner with Product/Service Design/Technology to drive AI and automation-driven adjudication and end-to-end automation.
• Oversee regional insurance portfolio performance, loss ratios, and fraud-detection initiatives.
• Oversee automated and manual underwriter referral workflows within delegated authority limits.
