Job summary

Waters is seeking a BD COR Technical Instrument Expert to support deployment, operation, and service readiness of the BD COR platform across Belgium, the Netherlands, and wider EMEA. You will collaborate with Customer Remote Support, Field Service, and regional teams to ensure optimal uptime and rapid issue resolution.

This field-based role requires travel up to 70% and relocation flexibility within Belgium or the Netherlands, with access to major international airports.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Experience with complex diagnostic instruments or laboratory automation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities for hardware and software.
• Knowledge of PC hardware, networking, LIS, middleware, databases and connectivity.
• Excellent communication, training and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical escalation point for BD COR instrument, software, workflow, and connectivity issues.
• Diagnose and resolve advanced technical issues remotely and onsite to maximize uptime.
• Deliver technical training and coaching to Field Service Engineers and technical support teams.
• Support new product introductions, software releases, upgrades, and service readiness activities.
• Partner with Customer Remote Support and Field Service teams to drive timely issue resolution.
• Analyze recurring technical issues and performance trends to identify improvements.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and capability building across the EMEA service organization.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
