Job summary

EdgeConneX is seeking a technically deep Commissioning Engineer (Cx SME) for EMEA within the Global Design & Engineering organization. The role is the regional technical authority for commissioning, accountable for readiness criteria and test execution across a portfolio of campuses from early design through IST and handover to Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.
• PMP strongly preferred; BCxA CCP or ACG CxA valued; CDCP or CDCDP preferred; NETA Level II or higher desired.

Responsibilities

• Own commissioning scope definition, sequencing strategy, and readiness criteria across campuses.
• Serve as primary commissioning interface between GD&E, site teams, execution partner, Operations, vendors and third-party agents.
• Oversee IST and FAT validation, ensuring systems meet specifications and readiness criteria.
• Provide onsite commissioning leadership during startup, functional testing, IST and energization.
• Maintain safety, quality, and environmental standards and escalate issues when needed.
• Ensure commissioning documentation is complete and stored in company systems.

Education
