Job summary

Verathon is seeking an EMEA Accounts Payable Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting team in Amsterdam, Netherlands, with a hybrid work model (2 days in the office). The AP Analyst will handle invoices, coordinate banking activities, and support monthly closings and audits.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure accurate reconciliations, and contribute to process improvements while maintaining compliance with our ethics and privacy guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or related discipline.
• 3+ years of directly related accounting/finance experience in a multinational environment.
• Experience with a U.S.-based manufacturing company preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English; additional languages desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle all incoming invoices.
• Coordinate banking activities for all EMEA entities.
• Participate in the accrual process each month (invoice accruals and other accruals).
• Support account reconciliations with the Accountant (segregation of duties).
• Support periodic closings under supervision of the Manager.
• Assist during internal and external audits (finance & accounting related).
• Support controllership projects and document processes.
• Manage Verathon EMEA HQ mail.
