Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Embedded Software Test Engineer to test and improve software for EV charging solutions. You will work in an Agile environment, develop test protocols, execute tests, and contribute to test automation, including Python scripts.

You’ll collaborate with developers and stakeholders, design embedded test setups, and perform root-cause analysis using tools like debuggers and oscilloscopes. Fluency in English is required, and Almere residents are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in embedded software, technical informatics, robotics or similar field.
• Experience in software testing within an Agile Scrum environment and test automation using Jenkins and Python.
• Affinity with high-tech product development and electrical products in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience designing and building embedded test setups.
• Excellent communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality and mitigate risks;
• Participating in team process activities (stand-ups, planning, reviews, and retrospectives);
• Identifying issues and bottlenecks early in the development process;
• Improving test processes and performing tests within an Agile development team;
• Identifying user stories and test routines;
• Contributing to test automation (based on Behavioral Driven Development and Python scripts);
• Developing and maintaining complex test setups;
• Conducting root-cause analysis using tools such as a debugger, logic analyzer, or oscilloscope.
