Job summary

ARVOO in Harmelen specializes in hardware and software for smart cameras and computer vision systems. We seek an Embedded Software Engineer to develop firmware, BSPs, and drivers, and to bridge software with hardware across projects such as scanning vehicles and image sensors.

You will join a close-knit team and grow toward more responsibility. Ideal candidates have a background in Embedded Systems, enjoy hardware interaction, and communicate well in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

Background in Embedded Systems or related education (HBO or university).
Affinity for hardware, Linux, and drivers.
Good command of Dutch and English languages.
Ability to work independently, take responsibility and contribute ideas.

Responsibilities

Developing and extending embedded software and BSPs, and programming microcontrollers in C.
Control, synchronize, and optimize hardware via (real-time) firmware for image quality.
Expose hardware functionality to software via libraries and (Python) interfaces.
Collaborate with hardware and software teams to realize new functionalities and improve products.
Provide support with technical issues involving embedded software.
