Job summary

RIXT.IT is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Finance & Business Control team, embedded in the business rather than a central Data & AI unit. You will collaborate with Business Controllers and the commercial organization to translate questions into data solutions.

The role blends analytics with data engineering, focusing on automation, dashboards in Tableau, and expanding the data environment with SQL and Python, while ensuring reliable, scalable reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant professional experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
• Experience with SQL; Python preferred.
• Familiarity with BI or data visualization tools; Tableau is a strong plus.
• Affinity with Finance, Business Control, or commercial environments.
• Able to translate business questions into technical data solutions.
• Proactive in identifying process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Strong communication with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Automate recurring Business Control processes and analytical workflows.
• Build and improve data solutions using Python, SQL, and Tableau.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, automated workflows, and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with Business Controllers and commercial teams to translate requirements.
• Enhance Tableau environment and serve as a key dashboard contact.
• Make data more accessible for independent business analysis.
• Explore AI and automation applications to improve analytics and reporting.
• Coordinate with Data & AI and IT on data architecture and governance.
• Ensure solutions are reliable, scalable, tested, documented, and maintainable.
