Job summary

Xelvin is looking for a Defect Analysis Engineer who loves uncovering root causes of technical issues and driving continuous improvement in an international setting. You’ll work hands-on with machinery and analyze complex electronic and mechatronic systems returned from customers or manufacturing.

In this role you’ll collaborate with quality, development and manufacturing teams to resolve issues, define containment actions, and translate findings into actionable improvements for future products

• Strong RCA skills with experience on electronic and mechatronic systems.
• Ability to work cross-functionally across quality, development and manufacturing.
• Willingness to work hands-on with machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on complex electronic and mechatronic systems returned from customers or internal manufacturing. Your findings will be essential for the quality team for defining improvements and resolving failure modes.
• Work cross-functionally with quality, development, and manufacturing teams to resolve issues and improve product reliability.
• Responsible for defining and implementing containment actions to manage non-conforming products and support smooth production flow.
• Translate your findings into actionable improvements for future product development and process optimization.

What do we offer?

• A 14-month contract, after which you will get a permanent contract at the customer.
• A salary between €3500,- and €5000,- gross a month
• 27 paid holidays a year (+ potential ADV days)
• Public holidays, with a maximum of 7 per year, which are paid by Xelvin
• Holiday allowance of 8.33%
• Overtime and shift allowance will be paid by Xelvin accordingly
• Travel allowance per km, for the use of traveling to work and back home
