Job summary

Dornan Engineering Group, based in Groningen, is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to lead high-voltage, critical infrastructure projects across Europe. You will oversee the delivery of data centre electrical systems on tight schedules, coordinating scope, budget, and design-to-site processes.

The ideal candidate has an electrical trade or degree and at least 8 years in construction management within electrical contracting; experience in data centre builds is desirable.

Qualifications

• Trade or Degree qualified in an Electrical discipline.
• Proven track record in the Electrical contracting space, with at least 8 years in a construction management position
• Previous experience in data centre construction projects is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily electrical project delivery, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget targets are met.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and client teams across installation and commissioning activities.
• Track project progress, procurement, labour, and key risks, resolving issues to avoid delays.
• Lead site meetings, provide progress updates, and maintain project documentation and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with electrical standards, QA/QC processes, and health & safety requirements.
• Support testing and commissioning to achieve successful system handover to the client.

Electrical Project Manager

Dornan Engineering Group is a leading international engineering contractor delivering high-value projects across Europe, UK & Ireland. Based in Groningen, this is an excitingopportunity to join our growing Critical Infrastructure Division as a an Electrical Project Manager, supporting the delivery of our Hyperscale Data Centre in the North of Holland.

You will be responsible to safely deliver high-voltage,mission-critical electrical infrastructure on a compressed schedule, whilemeticulously managing scope, budget, and design-to-site coordination.

Your day will include:
