Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Electrical & Instrumentation Technician roles, ideally leading teams.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and engineering documentation.
• Good literacy in computer OS and applications such as Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and AutoCAD.
• Ability to work to tight schedules and deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Qualified tradesperson preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding and rectification for instrumentation systems.
• Loop checking and testing instrument and verifying cabling.
• Maintaining inspection and test records to comply with current legislation and safety/quality requirements.
• Assisting operations in diagnosing process problems and failures.
• Maintain compliance of ATEX certified equipment in hazardous areas.
• Suggest continuous improvement suggestions for processes and calibration activities.
• Maintain documentation in an organised manner in line with GAMP and FDA.

We are seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join our pharma project in Boxmeer STS Group is a market-leading MEP contractor, working mostly on mission-critical projects for blue-chip clients across Europe and in the UAE.

The Opportunity

As our next Electrical & Instrumentation Technician, you’ll play an important role in the successful delivery of our pharma project in Boxmeer, carrying out the installation of electrical, instrumentation and control systems to the highest standards. You’ll work as part of the project team to ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently and in line with project specifications, quality standards and industry requirements.

Here are some of the key duties of this role:

• Fault finding and rectification for instrumentation systems..
• Loop checking and testing instrument and verifying cabling.
• Maintaining accurate inspection and test records to comply with current legislation and plant safety and quality requirements.
• Assisting operations in diagnosing process problems and failures.
• Responsibility to maintain the compliance of ATEX certified equipment used in hazardous areas.
• Suggest continuous improvement suggestions for processes and calibration activities
• Maintain all documentation in an organised and controlled manner in compliance with GAMP and FDA.

What We Are Looking For:
