Job summary

Arup in Amsterdam is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the multidisciplinary MEP team on medium to large-scale projects, designing electrical installations such as power, lighting, distribution, and life-safety systems.

You will lead work packages, ensure quality and timely delivery, and guide junior staff while collaborating with colleagues across disciplines in an international setting. A strong background in building services and hands-on design experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Completed technical education (Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering) at HBO level or higher.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrable experience in electrical engineering through project references of varying size and market segments.
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design and contract documentation and specifications.
• Design electrical services and installations for complex building services projects across sectors.
• Present projects and design solutions to clients and partners.
• Be part of a multi-disciplinary team.
