Job summary

Fortna in the Netherlands is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and deliver the electrical engineering scope for Material Handling Systems across projects. You will work on electrical design, power calculations, specifications, interfaces, and installation documentation while coordinating with other engineering disciplines to ensure reliable, efficient solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience in electrical engineering within manufacturing or engineering environments.
• Knowledge of electrical design, power calculations, specs, interfaces, and documentation.
• Ability to analyze technical issues and develop engineering solutions.
• Ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines and communicate effectively.
• Experience coordinating activities and guiding colleagues is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs based on system architecture and project requirements.
• Perform power calculations and electrical interface analyses.
• Coordinate electrical design activities with other engineering disciplines.
• Prepare electrical specifications, BOMs, and installation documentation.
• Create and maintain electrical installation and as-built documentation.
• Assess design changes and implement approved changes.
• Provide electrical engineering support during site activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering solutions and processes.
• Coordinate activities, advise stakeholders and guide less experienced colleagues.
