Job summary

Resolvo Engineering B.V. in the Netherlands is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support a food production facility in Nieuwkoop. You will troubleshoot and maintain electrical installations and production machinery, working with a diverse range of process equipment and automated lines.

Qualifications

An MBO-4, HBO, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field.
Relevant experience in electrical engineering, industrial maintenance, process installations, or production machinery.
Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems and fault diagnosis.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical schematics.
Knowledge of motors, sensors, control panels, frequency drives, and electrical installations.
Basic knowledge of PLC systems and industrial automation is an advantage.
Proactive troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical improvements.

Responsibilities

Analyse and troubleshoot electrical faults in industrial machinery and process installations.
Maintain, repair, and improve electrical systems, motors, pumps, sensors, and frequency drives.
Support the operation of mixers, conveyors, packaging machines, and automated production lines.
Diagnose faults in electrical control panels and industrial installations.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
Support PLC‑controlled machinery and industrial automation systems.
Carry out preventive maintenance and implement corrective measures.
Assist with testing, commissioning, and technical modifications to existing equipment.
Identify recurring technical issues and propose improvements to machine reliability.
Work closely with production operators and the maintenance team to minimize downtime.
Ensure all engineering and maintenance activities comply with applicable safety, hygiene, and company standards.
Participate in breakdown support and on‑call services when required.
