Job summary

GH Engage in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is seeking a Commercial Manager (Electrical) to support the Construction Team with Quantity Surveying functions and commercial governance.

The role requires a relevant degree and electrical/Data Centre experience, with on-site leadership responsibilities and strong communication skills. Accommodation, flights, vehicle, and living away allowance are provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• A relevant third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics.
• Experience in an electrical role and data centre experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, ability to work independently and in a multi-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Construction Team on all Quantity Surveying functions including contract compliance and monitoring.
• Identify potential commercial risks and report promptly to management.
• Prepare monthly progress applications with accurate remeasurements, variations and claims.
• Support procurement activity and contract management with the Procurement Department.
• Manage subcontractor accounts from award through interim valuation, variations and final account.
• Forecast turnover and cash flow for the projects.
• Conduct commercial review of projects for accurate reporting.
• Identify, analyse and report trends within the Business & Projects.
• Review correspondence to identify contractually critical items and respond accordingly.
• Mentor and lead the wider Commercial Team on site.
• Perform all other duties associated with this role.
